Every Fourth of July, our community shows up for one another in the most beautiful way—and Four on the 4th is at the heart of it all. This year marks the 15th annual Four on the 4th race and as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary - and your participation today helps ensure the next 250 years!
Join us in Downtown Vinton for one of the Roanoke Valley’s favorite holiday traditions benefiting the incredible Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia. This event is one of their largest annual fundraisers, helping provide life-changing after-school programs, summer camps, mentorship, meals, and safe spaces for youth across our region.
And if you’ve ever been around the Boys & Girls Club crew out and about in our community… you already know: they SHOW UP. Loud, proud, joyful, supportive, welcoming, and full of heart. This year, we’re rallying right back around them and making this race bigger, louder, and more meaningful than ever.

Four on the 4th Pricing:

- $30 June 20-21 to celebrate Move-A-Palooza
- $44 June 22 through July 4
Four on the 4th Kids Fun Run Pricing:
- FREE! (no shirt, but kids will receive a medal at the finish line)
VIP Runner Pricing: $50

Race-Day registration for both Four on the 4th and the Kids Fun Run will be available on-site starting at 7 am.
REFUND POLICY & RULES
There are no refunds for the 2026 Four on the 4th. In the case of inclement weather the event will become a virtual race. Dogs and pets are not permitted to participate in either race. Strollers ARE allowed.
RACE SHIRT & MEDAL
All 4-miler participants who register by June 12, 2026 will get an awesome finishers medal and super soft commemorative t-shirt! All VIP Runner participants will get the same awesome finishers medal and super soft commemorative t-shirt, regardless of deadline.
The Four on the 4th medal is made from high-quality dip-dyed metal.
All Kids Fun Run participants will receive a medal at the finish line.
PACKET PICK-UP
VIP Runners have access to an exclusive early packet pickup!

Packet pickup will be available at Fleet Feet Roanoke

You will also be able to pick up your packet at the event, starting at 7 am.
RACE DAY DETAILS
Four on the 4th will start at 8am on July 4th, 2025. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be held from 7am - 7:45am. The race starts at 8am sharp! There is a 90-minute course limit.
The Kids Fun Run starts at 9am. Registration will be open until 7:45am race morning.
The awards ceremony will start at 9:30am.

Age group awards will be presented to Top 3 Males and Females in each age group category:
1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up
The Top 3 Males, Top 3 Females, Top Male Master, Top Female Master, Top Male Grand Master and Top Female Grand Master will win a pair of shoes from Fleet Feet!
COURSE DETAILS
Our new 4-mile course is starting and ending at the Vinton Farmers Market!! Stay tuned for details and to preview the route on Strava.
KIDS FUN RUN
This FREE event is a great way to get your kid out running and walking! The Four on the 4th Kids Fun Run will start at 9am and is approximately a half mile in total. Parents are allowed to join their kids!
All kids will receive a Kids Fun Run finishers medal when they cross the finish line!
