Surf For The Cure Aloha 5k Run/Walk

The 11th Annual Surf For The Cure Aloha 5k Fun Run/Walk will take place at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront Saturday October 5, 2024.

The Producers of this event, The Wahine Surf Club are an avid promoter of healthy active lifestyles and are commutes to giving back to the community. All proceeds support the Surf For The Cure Foundation giving a financial gift to 11 local current breast cancer patients. 

Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick up will be Friday October 4th from 6pm-9pm at Back Bay’s Farmhouse at 1805 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Please bring your picture ID to packet pickup. If you are picking up for another registered runner you must have a copy of their picture ID. Late registration will also be available at this time. You may also pick up your race packet the afternoon of the race at the 2nd street aide station at 5:30am.

Race Day
There will be plenty of parking at the race start/finish at the 2nd Street Municipal lot and and metered parking around Rudee Loop. Please be prepared to pay for parking. Cars parked in the 2nd street lot or metered parking without paying will be towed.
There will be no baggage drop off for this race. We strongly advise that you leave valuables at home. Because of the close proximity of parking we advise that you keep your belongings safely stored in your vehicle during the race. 
There will be public restrooms at the start/finish of the race. We will have two stationed aid stations. The first will be at the start/finish of the race and the second will be at the halfway point at 24th street.

Race Start 6:00 am
We will keep the race open tell the very last runner/walker passes the finish line. We are here to celebrate you and your accomplishment! However please advise per city requirements we must break down our finish line tents and tables at 8:00 am Post Race Awards And Celebration 8:00 am
