Join us for the Surfers Healing 5K. Enjoy a scenic run on the Virginia Beach boardwalk. Autism Society Tidewater Virginia's mission is to create connections, empowering everyone in the Autism community with the resources needed to live fully. Run, walk, or volunteer to help us create a positive impact and raise awareness for the Autism community. Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time.
Wave Schedule Start
To help improve course flow and provide a better race experience, Surfer’s Healing is implementing paced wave starts this year. Participants will begin in the following order:
8:00 a.m. – Competitive Wave Start
8:05 a.m. – Athlete Duo Wave Start (including Team Hoyt and Ainsley’s Angels participants)
8:10 a.m. – Main Wave Start
These staggered start times are designed to enhance safety, reduce course congestion, and create a smoother experience for all athletes. Please arrive at the starting area early and be prepared to begin with your assigned wave.
