in this prestigious and historical
Half Marathon Run.
Half Marathon Runners
Start at 8:00 AM on Nassau Street adjacent to the Dewitt Wallace Art Museum in Colonial Williamsburg, follow Nassau St. to Prince George St. turn right on Prince George St, you’ll enter the historical Colonial Williamsburg, run past the Governor’s mansion and turn left on Nicholson St., then right on Waller St and take a right at the bus stop and enter the path leading pass the Capitol Building and onto the Duke of Gloucester St., Run towards the Armory building and then turn left to cross Francis St. and onto S. England St., then pick up the traditional course (see map) running out and back on the Carters Grove Country Road. On the last leg to the finish, runners continue on S. England, cross Francis, run on the Gravel path and take a left on Duke of Gloucester St. run to Nassau St, Left on Nassau cross Francis and thru the Finsih. time limit for the Half Marathon is four hours (4 hrs).
All finishing participants will receive a long Sleeve performance T-Shirt, Finisher’s Medal and a free entry pass to the “Post Race Celebration” complimentary beer.
Half Marathon Awards:
Cash Awards to top three Overall men and women must be registered in the Colonial Half "Run" event to receive the following one of the following placement: $500 1st, $300 2nd and $200 3rd.
Medals placement for the Top ten overall men and women.
Top three placement men and women Masters and Grand Masters.
Top 3 placement in the following Age Group Category, 16 and Under, 17-19, five years increment age groups 20-24 through 75 and over.
Start at 8:15 AM on Nassau St. Follow Nassau to Prince George, left on Prince George, right on Boundary St, right on Scotland St. right on Nassau St., and left on Prince George. Mini Half Runners
Start at 8:15 AM. This year we are introducing the Mini Half instead of the One Mile Fun Run. The Mini Half is 1.31 Miles. The Mini Half will Start at 8:15 AM following the back of the 5K wave start. See Course Map. Runners Start at Nassau st, cross Francis and right on Duke of Gloucester run to a turn around point at the end of the Duke of Gloucester St. and back to Nassau, left on Nassau, cross Francis and thru to the Finish.

Awards: Medals are awarded to the top three men and women overall, Top three men and women Masters and Grand Masters, top three male and female 14 and under and then five year age groups from 15-19 through 80 and over.
Both races are a Healthy Heart! Healthy Mind! event. A portion of the proceeds benefit Men and Women of Vision and Purpose (MWVP). A program dedicated to mentoring at risk youth for success in life through High School graduation, entrance into college or trade school and life after college.
Additionally, donations can be made to the Daniel G. and Rosemary B. Stimson Track Endowment at W&M. For 39 years, the Colonial Half Marathon and 5K benefited the Track and Field program at College of William and Mary. The past success and legacy of this event is due to the guidance and leadership of the College of William and Mary’s Track and Field coaches, in particular, Coach Daniel Stimson. Coach Stimson was the College of William and Mary’s Director of Track and Field as well as the Colonial Half Marathon Race Director for 25 years. Coach Stimson passed away in Oct. of 2017.

METHOD OF RESERVATIONS
Individual Call-in - Reservations will be made by individuals calling (800) 261-9530 between
the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST Monday - Friday. Please identify yourself as being with
the Colonial Half Marathon Room Block (CB) at the time the reservation is made in order to
receive the group rate.

Colonial Williamsburg parking lot P6. Located at 410 W. Francis St. This is a fee lot. $1.00 per hour. lot opens at 5AM
It is about a 2 minute walk form this lot to the Start line.
Power Plant Parking lot at the College of William and Mary. No fee. Participants can park all day Sat Feb 16th, 2019. located off of Grigsby St. Turn onto Grigsby St. from N. Boundary and follow the street into the parking lot. About a 5 minute walk to the start line.
Prince George St. parking garage. This is a fee lot. First 30 Minutes is free, $1.00 per hour for a max of $12.00 per day. This is a covered garage.
Do not park in the Museum parking lot or the CW employee parking lot.
