Lace up your running shoes and experience an unforgettable journey through the historic streets of CW! As we celebrate five fantastic years of serving up delicious brews and unforgettable memories, we invite you to be a part of our milestone celebration with a special 5K run like no other.
A portion of your registration fee will benefit Heritage Humane.

Join us after the run for an epic afterparty at Precarious Beer Hall, where you'll be treated to breakfast, tunes by DJ Brannu, and of course, an incredible selection of craft beers to quench your post-run thirst. Each registration includes one beer or non alcoholic beverage of your choice. Raise a glass with fellow participants and celebrate our 5th anniversary in style!

5K Race Course
The vast majority of our course is paved road, with a small section near the Capitol Building that is gravel. The start line is on Prince George Street between Henry Street and Nassau Street. The finish line is on Duke of Gloucester Street just as you near the Nassau Street intersection.
Schedule of Events
Packet Pickup:
- Friday, June 7th from 3:00pm – 8:00pm at Precarious Beer Hall, 110 S Henry Street, Williamsburg, VA 23185
- Please bring a photo ID to pick up your packet. If you are picking up for someone else, please have a copy or photo of their ID.
- At packet pickup you will receive your assigned bib number and t-shirt.
- We will offer onsite registration at this time if someone you know is still interested in running.
Race Day Schedule:
6:30 AM: Event Site Opens
6:30 AM - 7:45 AM: On-Site Packet Pickup, on-site registration available
8:00 AM: 5K Start Time
9:15 AM: Awards Ceremony
8:30 AM - 11:00 AM: After Party
Parking
Parking is available at various locations around Colonial Williamsburg. We've been told the P6 Parking Lot is free until 10am, most other lots are paid and timed so please check signage.
Please arrive early to ensure you have enough time to park and make your way to the starting area. The Farmer's Market opens at 8am and parking will fill up as we get closer to that time.
Race Day Information
Starting Line: The race will start just below the intersection of Prince George and Henry Street. It takes about 5-7 mins to walk there from the Precarious Beer Hall, please give yourself ample time to arrive before the start time.
Hydration Stations: There will be a water hydration station outside of Matthew Whaley Elementary School, just about halfway through the course.
Bathrooms: There will be portable bathrooms available on Nassau Street in between both the start and finish line.
Medical Assistance: Medical tent will be located at the finish line.
After Party
- Join us for the after party at Precarious Beer Hall immediately following the race.
- Awards to the Top 3 overall male and female runners will be announced and give around 9:00/9:15am.
- There will be breakfast food available for purchase, music provided by DJ Brannu, beverages, and adoptable dogs from Heritage Humane Society.
- Each race bib will have a tab for a free beer (or nonalcoholic beverage) of your choice. You're welcome to purchase additional beverages throughout the afterparty.
- We will have some breakfast food items available for purchase until 11am. The Beer Hall will open for regular business at 11am, feel free to stay and hang out as long as you like!
Additional Information
Weather: Please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. The event will proceed rain or shine.
Bag Check: There will not be a dedicated bag check. We will have an area inside the Beer Hall for you to set belongings while you race but please note that it will be at your own risk and we are not liable for damaged or missing items.

- Your race bib
- Comfortable running shoes and attire
- Photo ID
- Cash or card for food, beer, and merchandise purchases
Price Increase & Registration Cutoff:The price of registration will increase after midnight this Sunday 6/2/24. If you have friends and family still in need of signing up please let them know! Guaranteed t-shirts also cut off at this time. Online registration will end midnight on Thursday 6/6/24. After that registration will only be available in person from 3pm-8pm on Friday 6/7/24 and from 6:30am-7:45am on Saturday 6/8/24.
