Description
The Somero Project is hosting its annual Lake Padden 5K! Come join the fun on a beautiful rolling hill trail around Bellingham's scenic Lake Padden.
100% of the proceeds will go to The Somero Project, a non profit supported out of Bellingham that focuses on providing sustainable solutions to educate and empower the youth in Kotolo, Uganda. The Project of Somero, meaning "School" in Lugandan, was founded in 2008 and this will be our 5th annual 5K!
Friendly, leashed fur friends are welcomed along with strollers suitable for gravel and hills, walkers are welcomed too! Please stay after, have a pancake or two, check out some merchandise for sale including hand made necklaces from Uganda, and enter our raffle to win additional prizes (raffle prizes will be announced over the next few weeks). Want to bring the family? Kids ten and under are free!
