Description
The Summer Solstice is June 18th! Enjoy the beginning of summer on our beautiful islands with a walk.
Walks this year will be in Oak Harbor, Coupeville, and on Camano Island to allow more staff participation. Every participant will receive a prize!

Coupeville Pratt Loop Trail Map
Park in the parking lot behind Sunnyside Cemetery off Sherman Rd.
Follow the Pratt Loop Trail around the Jacob Ebey House for around 1.3 miles, roundtrip. There are other trails to explore, if you have time.
Oak Harbor City Beach Trail Map
Parking lot and street parking on Scenic Heights St.
Follow the Freund Marsh trail straight until you reach the trail along Beeksma Dr. Turn right toward Windjammer Park. Walk through the parking lot and continue the trail over the bridge, past the lagoon and the playground. You can turn around as you reach Flinstone Park for a roundtrip of about 2 miles, or you can continue as far as the marina for almost 4 miles, roundtrip.
Camano Iverson Spit Trail Map
Park at one of two parking areas off E. Iverson Beach Rd.
Follow the Forest Loop Trail around Beaver Marsh. If you’re feeling adventurous, or have young adventurers with you, you may want to try out the Hobbit Trail. It meets back up with the Forest Loop Trail which will lead you back to both parking areas.
