What is A RUCK?

Weighted backpack, and miles under your feet.
Rucking is a new take on an old form of exercise. It involves walking or hiking with a weighted backpack. The extra weight takes your normal walk and turns up the intensity.
When rucking, you’ll experience less pounding on the knees than when running, making rucking a good choice for low-impact exercise. The weight also requires more force from your muscles, which makes rucking a cardiovascular exercise that will build strength and stamina, too. Come out and RUCK with us!
Build Endurance, train with military veterans and empowered individuals from all walks of life, strengthen your body and ground your mind in Nature and help others lead active, engaged lives one Ruck at a time.

Mother RUCKer is part of the campaign known as Race 2 Save Veteran Lives (R2SVL), which is a program of the National Alliance To End Veteran Suicide (NA2EVS).  Learn more by clicking links for each.
