Virtual Race Registrations

Virtual registration prices for both the half marathon and 5K will stay at $35 through the duration of the registration period and will close on race day, May 1. All race packages purchased before April 26 will be mailed out April 26. All virtual registration packages will include shipping within the United States. If wanting to register for the virtual event from outside the US, please email us at info@fizzeventsnw.com to figure out shipping costs.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP

There will be no pre-race packet pickup. All participant packets will be available on race day prior to your race. See below for more information.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP

Race day packet pickup will be available starting 30 minutes before the first wave start (8:30am) at Marymoor Park near the event start line (Velodrome Cement Pad). We encourage all participants, regardless of collecting materials or not to show up no earlier than 30 minutes before your race start. There will be no-onsite race day registration. All registration (regardless of time or date) will be available online only. You must register prior to participating.

VIRTUAL RACE PICKUP 

All registered virtual race participants will have their swag mailed to them the week of the event. Virtual participants are encouraged to complete and upload their race results on race day, May 1, but are not required to. Virtual packets will be mailed free of charge.

The Fiesta 5K Ole course will be an out and back run throughout Marymoor Park and along the Sammamish River Trail. The 5K course will have no "support" along course, meaning there will be the water stations or restrooms on course.

WHAT TIME IS THE EVENT? 8:30am - 12:00pm

WILL THE EVENT HAS A MASS START? No, in following the Governor's Guidelines for a safe return to live running races, the race will start in small waves over a 3-hour period

HOW WILL I BE ASSIGNED A START WAVE? During registration, you will select your desired wave start time. You will have the option to select your start time every 3 minutes over a 3-hour period between 8:30am - 11:30am regardless of your running pace. Waves will be very small, so register early to select your desired wave time

I'VE SELECTED MY WAVE START TIME BUT WANT TO CHANGE IT - That's ok! you can change it. Just click the circle with a silhouette in the upper right corner, select Fiesta 5K Ole, then "manage registration" From here, you'll be able to select a different wave if there is availability in it.

WHEN IS PACKET PICKUP? Packet pickup will be available on race day starting 30 minutes before your wave start time. PLEASE DO NOT arrive earlier than 30 minutes before your start time or you'll be asked to wait in your car

DO YOU HAVE GEAR CHECK? We will not be offering gear check for the event. We encourage everyone to leave their "stuff" in their car while running.

WHERE IS PARKING? Parking for the event will be located directly east of the Velodrome Pad, follow the parking signs when arriving at Marymoor Park, near the rock climbing wall.

MASKS, DO I NEED ONE? Yes, while you're not running, you will be required to wear a mask or face covering. This includes from the time you exit your car to the time you start your race and immediately after finishing your run. We strongly encourage all participants to use a face covering while passing others as well.

IS SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED? Yes, please remember to keep your distance. We urge everyone to keep 6 feet of distance while not running unless with people in your party. This includes at the start line, finish line, while picking up your packet and in the restroom line.

CAN MY FANS COME? Please leave your spectators at home. To continue keeping our crowds to a minimum we ask that all spectators wait somewhere not at the start/finish area.

WHAT'S THE COURSE? The 5K course will be an out and back run throughout Marymoor Park and the Sammamish River Trail.

WILL WATER STATIONS BE AVAILABLE? No, there will be no on-course water stations but we will offer bottled water at the finish line.

ARE STROLLERS OR PUPS ALLOWED? Sure, all we ask is that you stay to the edge of the course and running paths to allow others to pass. If with a pup, please make sure they are to the outside of the course at all times.

ONCE REGISTERED, CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND? No refunds will be given. We will allow any participant unable to attend the option to transfer their registration to another participant. Email us if this is needed. If for some reason the event is cancelled, all live entries will be transferred to a virtual entry and swag will be mailed out.

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL RUN/WALK?

A virtual event is an event you can complete anytime, anywhere. There is no set time or place a virtual run starts. Virtual runs are created for you to complete at your convenience at your own pace!

WHAT EVENTS CAN I PARTICIPATE IN?

The Fiesta 5K Olle is offering participants multiple race distances including a 5K Fun Run and a Half Marathon Run/Walk

DO I HAVE TO RUN?

Nope! You can run it, you can walk it or you can do a combo of both.

WHERE CAN I COMPLETE MY RACE?

It's virtual, so you can complete it anywhere you'd like! Jump on your treadmill, run through your neighborhood or find your favorite running trail. It's 100% up to you. Just make sure the route you choose is safe and the proper distance.

CAN I DOUBLE UP MY MILEAGE WITH OTHER EVENTS?

Sure! We want to support everyone participating in fun, virtual events right now. If you're signed up for multiple running events, feel free to double up your miles.

WHEN CAN I COMPLETE MY RACE?

You can complete your race anytime you'd like after you've registered through May 8.

IS THERE A SPECIFIC APP I NEED TO USE TO "PROVE" I COMPLETED MY RACE?

You can track your run with any app, watch or fitness device you'd like or just pre-measure your course using your favorite measuring app like mapmyrun.com then save your time and record it when you get home!

CAN I COMPLETE MY VIRTUAL RUN BEFORE RACE DAY 5/01?

Definitely! May 8 is the last day participants will be allowed to complete their virtual run and log their finishing time. We encourage everyone to complete their run before or on race day though, May 1!

WHEN/WHERE DO I GET MY SWAG?

We will begin mailing all swag one week prior to the Fiesta 5K Ole to ensure participants that want to participate virtually on race day can do so. Shipping is included with your virtual registration!

IF I DECIDE NOT TO PARTICIPATE CAN I RECEIVE A REFUND?

Refunds will not be provided to virtual participants.

LIVE RACING IS BACK! 

We are stoked to welcome runners back on course and take part in some fun, engaging events. To do so, we need to make sure you're safe first and foremost. To do so, we'll be following the guidelines provided to us, as well as adding some of our own.

To ensure all participants, employees and volunteers safety, we will be following the Governor's "Safe Return to Running" guidelines and enforcing the following. Please help us keep everyone safe by following the guidelines put forth.

For starters, the event will be capped, so capacity is going to be extremely limited, register early to ensure your spot at the start line. Speaking of start lines, you'll need to select what time you'd like to participate. To encourage social distancing, we will be offering time slots 3 minutes apart from 8:30am - 11:30am for you to start your race. You'll need to select a specific time during registration. Register early to ensure your time (and get your friend to register with you).

When you arrive at the event:

• We strongly encourage all participants to show up no earlier than 30 minutes prior to your start time. This is to ensure we have minimal numbers of people crowding areas
• Masks/Face Coverings will be required AT ALL TIMES once you exit your car until you start your race
• Use hand sanitizer. It will be available at the packet pickup area as well as at all portable restrooms

While on course:

• Please do not run next to each other (unless in your group). Always leave room for others to pass safely.
• Face coverings will not be required (except at water fill up stations), but we encourage all participants to cover up while passing others

 
At the finish line:

• Participants are once again required to cover up. Face Masks are 100% required at all times once crossing the finish line
• Please do not hang out at the finish line. Help us encourage physical distancing and move on from the finish line after your race
• Food - we'll have some snacks to refill on. They'll all be single serve individual packaging and self serve, so please only touch what you plan to take and clear the area
• After your race, results will be emailed to you, no need to hang around. Please clear the area so others can start their race, finish their race and visit packet pickup.

If you aren't feeling well, have been near others that have been exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive. Please stay safe and stay at home. We'll mail your packet to you so you can complete your race virtually when feeling better. Let's not put others at risk.
