How will you spend your extra day? With a 5K, of course! Celebrate Leap Year Day by leaping around Greenlake for a 5K, 1 Mile or Go the Extra Mile Combo (5K and 1 Mile together).
Schedule:
8:30am - Registration and Packet Pickup Opens
9:00am - Costume contest - come as your best leaping animal, superhero, or really anything that leaps or jumps!
9:15am - 1 Mile Race
9:30am - 5K Race
10:15am - Long Leap competition
If you sign up for the combo you will complete the 1 mile course first, then start with the 5K race.
Race benefits Redeeming Soles. Bring your gently worn shoes to race day to donate to Redeming Soles.
Go the Extra Mile combo participants will receive a special "I went the extra mile" pin!
Everyone gets a pack of Extra Gum, Happy Hoppers fruit snacks, water, Power Crunch protein bars and Partner's Crackers.
