Happy Thanksgiving 2023
Continue the Spirit and Tradition of the BRRC Family Friendly Thanksgiving by participating in the Annual BRRC Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day at Manito Park Duck Pond (https://my.spokanecity.org/parks/major/manito/). We want to continue the tradition of the giving season. There is no entry fee only a donation to 2nd Harvest. There will be prize Drawing at 10:00 AM that morning.
Cash donations are accepted on Run Sign Up. Sign-on to the website (www.runsignup.com), click on DONATION and complete the information. Cash donations or food donations to the 2ND Harvest Food Bank will be accepted at the event on Thanksgiving morning. The food bank has seven times the buying power than we do. (A$5.00 donation will buy $35.00 worth of food).

Carpooling is strongly advised due to limited parking at Manito Park. Arrive early to sign the waiver prior to the event. For the safety of the participants, please have your dogs on a leash he run.

Directions
From downtown Spokane, go South on Stevens Ave past the hospitals. Stevens will turn into Grand Boulevard and roll right past the Manito Park Entrance. Watch for the large sign on the right after you get up the hill past 14th Ave. Can't miss it. Parking is available for no charge at the main entrance. Wear comfortable shoes and spend a few hours exploring many park features. Watch your speed on Grand Blvd as the limit decreases to 20mph in front of the park and is patrolled regularly. Traffic stops at crosswalks where pedestrians access the local businesses and homes.
