Let's Tri Again!

Join us as we tri to turn lemons into lemonade this triathlon race season.  We have created the ultimate virtual triathlon challenge! Choose a virtual race or a virtual mileage challenge! Never stop tri’ing!

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Register 
  2. Complete the event and post your results.
  3. Get your swag tag us on social media #nsplit

REGISTRATION CATEGORIES: Registration is $35 and includes a challenge tech shirt mailed to you.

  • Virtual race (sprint, olympic, or half iron)
    • virtual triathlon (swim, bike, run)
    • virtual duathlon (bike, run)
  • Mileage challenge (250mi, 500mi, or 1000mi)
    • individual mileage challenge
    • team mileage challenge

VIRTUAL TRIATHLON

When registering for the virtual triathlon, participants are able to pick between 3 different distance options available (Sprint, Olympic, or Half Iron distance). The essence of the virtual triathlon is to achieve your best swim, best bike, and best run times at the registered distance before July 31. Participants will post their best swim, best bike, and best run to the results page. Athletes are encouraged to continue to try and better their time and repost their best times before July 31. 

  • Sprint Distance: 0.5 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
  • Olympic Distance: 0.93 mile swim (1500m), 25 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
  • Half Iron Distance: 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run

VIRTUAL DUATHLON

Let's face it, most of us have not been swimming as much with pools closed. We created a duathlon option for this very reason! When registering for the virtual duathlon, participants are able to pick between 3 different distance options available (Sprint, Olympic, or Half Iron distance). The essence of the virtual duathlon is to achieve your best bike and best run times at the registered distance before July 31. Participants will post their best bike and best run to the results page. Athletes are encouraged to continue to try and better their time and repost their best times before July 31. 

  • Sprint Distance: 13 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
  • Olympic Distance: 25 mile bike, 6.2 mile run
  • Half Iron Distance: 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run

VIRTUAL MILEAGE CHALLENGE

The triathlon mileage challenge has 3 distance options (250 total miles, 500 total miles, and 1,000 total miles). Every swim, bike, and run you complete between the day you register and July 31 counts toward your total mileage goal. Log each workout you complete on the results page. The goal of this mileage challenge is to keep you tri'ing and putting in your miles. It is up to each athlete how they want to break up their mileage goal between swim, bike, and run. We also realize that some athletes do not have access to a swim location and some athletes may be completing just bike and run workouts. That is ok! Just keep tri'ing and hit your overall mileage goal.

TEAM OPTION: For those athletes that want to perform the mileage goal as a team, there is a team division available in registration. The team division allows multiple people to work toward the mileage goal.  Each individual on the team could submit whatever workouts they complete no matter what type of workout. 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIRTUAL RACE RESULTS:

  1. Complete a swim, bike, and/or run workout of your chosen distance
  2. Submit your workout to our online results page.
  3. Continue tri'ing to beat your time until the final date July 31.
  4. You can update your time in the results section as many times as you like to indicate your best time.
  5. Swim, bike, and run workouts do not need to be completed all at the same time, then can be completed on separate days.
  6. Make sure to share your experience by tagging us on social media with #nsplit

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR MILEAGE CHALLENGE RESULTS: 

  1. Complete a swim, bike, or run workout of any distance.
  2. Submit your workout miles in our online results activity tracker .
  3. Keep completing workouts and posting results through July 31.
  4. Monitor your goal progress on your results page
  5. Share your experience by tagging us on social media with #nsplit
