You are invited to come out and follow the yellow brick road with Homeward Pet Adoption Center
Homeward Pet is excited to announce a NEW event and we want all of you to be there! This family/pet friendly 5k is designed with our supporters, foster families, volunteers and adoption alumni in mind! If you love Homeward Pet and want to support this important work, this event is for YOU! If you haven't heard of Homeward Pet but love animals, this event is for YOU!
Leash up your furry friend and visit with Staff and Volunteers. Rally friends and family to walk/run with you!
Costumes are encouraged - Be as creative as you want!
Browse the Vendor Fair and visit with community businesses that also support Homeward Pet
- Race Location: Wilmot Gateway Park* in Woodinville
- Race Day Registration: 9:30am - 10:30am
- Race Start: 10:30am
- Celebrate with Homeward Pet at the Vendor Fair: 9:30am-1:00pm
- The Vendor Fair includes... Live Music by The Fentons! Food! Demonstrations! and more!
(*Parking will limited. You are encouraged to carpool or arrange for a drop off/pick up)

The Wizard of Oz Presents...
Now that the Wizard has been revealed... the great Citizens of Oz will be presented with the following awards
First, Second and Third Place Awards for the Best Dressed Pet
Best Overall "Group Themed Costume"
Additional prizes and awards will be given as the Wizard demands....
Race Start
There's No Place Like Home 5K will begin and end at the Wilmot Gateway Park
Participants will leave the large grassy area and follow the Sammamish River Trail1.55 miles towards Bothell Landing where Volunteers will be waiting to loop you back to the festival at Wilmot Gateway Park.
*Trail Note: There is a sharp corner just outside the park and participants are encouraged to walk/run shoulder to shoulder until the corner is cleared
**To reduce our footprint on the park and trails, doggy care stations will be provided and participants are encouraged to use the water refill stations provided by the City of Woodinville
