Description
This 5K Run/Walk and Kid’s Fun, in memory of Hannah Perry, will be held on October 4, 2014, at the Jones Pavilion in Riverside Park, Beloit, Wisconsin.
Hannah was a bright and compassionate child with special needs who loved horses and running. She shared her contagious smiles and unforgettable giggles with everyone wherever she went. Although Hannah’s physical abilities were extremely limited, she always tried her best and was a wonderful example of determination and perseverance.
In addition to honoring Hannah and her dynamic spirit, this run is the perfect opportunity for beginning runners and walkers to challenge themselves to start and finish a 5K in a friendly and fun environment! Hannah's jokes will even be posted along the course to keep you motivated and inspired to finish!
Proceeds from the run will enhance the lives of people in our community by providing scholarships for families with special needs children to receive respite from The Dutter House and for Central Christian Church students to attend the Christ in Youth conference next summer.
