Evan Kratochwill Memorial Invite Community 2 Mile Run/Walk

Join us for a community 2 mile cross country run/walk taking place at Glacier Creek Middle School as a part of the annual 2024 Evan Kratochwill Memorial Invitational hosted by Middleton High School. The races are put on by Middleton High School XC in honor of Evan Kratochwill, who passed away tragically in the fall of 2021. Evan was a former student at GCMS and at MHS, as well as a team member of the Middleton Cross Country team.

The two mile cross country run/walk will take place at 7:45 am on Saturday, October 4, 2025. New this year will be an awards ceremony for the community race. That will take place near 8:25.

Participants should park in the GCMS parking lot in front and side of the school. The back lot (by the basketball hoops) we are reserving for athletes, volunteers, and buses. Parking lot and traffic flow information can be viewed here. 

We will have packet pickup on Friday night at GCMS from 5-6 PM (on the far side by the 5th grade wing/gym). Participants can sign up as well from 5-6 pm. Cost is $30. 

On Saturday, packet pickup and in-person registration will begin at 6:30 am on race day. Cost on race day is $30. Packet pickup will end at 7:35 AM. **REGISTER by September 26th for a guaranteed shirt*

We will have live results and on site courtesy of Prime Time Timing with a jumbo electronic Big Board at the finish line! We appreciate the generosity of the participants this year and last year who donated towards this event. Proceeds and donations go directly towards course maintenance, race day logistics and enhancements into the Evan Kratochwill Memorial Races (community, middle school,  high school), and towards the Middleton High School Cross Country programs.
