Location: East side of De Pere on intersection of Broadway St and James St.
CHECK IN:
Check in will begin at 5PM at the orange star icon below on Broadway St. Notice all the specific pedestrian crossing locations on the course to get to the check in spot. Look for the information tent or Run Away Shoes Tent. At check in you will receive your bib, water bottle and beverage ticket.
THE COURSE:
The 1K course will be run counter-clockwise and does have some elevation in the route when you pass through the parking lot. The .5K route will start at the pedestrian #4 crossing location on Front St (green star below). Please report there. All other races begin from the start/finish line on Broadway St.
TIMELINE:
5 - 6pm - Check In
6:05pm - The competitive 1K run begins at the main start/finish line. Please arrive by 6pm and then we will call you onto the course. Due to participant numbers will run all age groups together.
6:10pm - The .5K Family/kids run begins at pedestrian crossing #4
6:15pm the 1K family/kids run begins at main start/finish line
AWARDS:
Overall Male and Female in each age division (29 & under, 30 -49 and 50 & older) of the competitive run will win a gift card to Run Away Shoes. All kids will be entered into a drawing to win a bike from Broken Spoke Bikes.

Tour De Pere:
Downtown De Pere is a host community of the largest competitive road cycling series in the U.S., Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD). ToAD has become one of the most popular race series internationally, earning an outstanding reputation for participant and fan experiences. It runs for 11 consecutive days from June 19 – 29 in communities throughout southeast and northeast Wisconsin.
Tour De Pere, presented by Green Bay ER & Hospital, is on day five and six of the tour, Sunday, June 22nd and Monday, June 23rd. The event features a variety of activities including the competitive races, kids' races, a fat tire race, the 1K run, and a block party presented by Nicolet Bank with live music, food and beverages, and a marketplace.
Tour De Pere 1K Run Details:
On Sunday, June 22nd join us during the community hour between the pro men and pro women races for a 1K run! The 1K run is designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for participants of all ages and fitness levels.
Participate in the following events:
- Competitive 1K Run - Run in waves by age. All genders run together.
- Kid & Family Friendly .5K & 1K Run - Inspire running in your little one, and come participate with them and cheer them on as they cross the finish line!
Competitive 1K Run:
- Wave 1 - Ages 29 & under
- Wave 2 - Ages 30 - 49
- Wave 3 - Ages 50 & older
- Waves will be sent consecutively
- Registration includes giveaway items & post race beer/beverage
- Gift Card from Run Away Shoes given to the Top Male & Female in each wave.
**There will be a clock at the finish line but this event is not formally timed.
Kid & Family Friendly .5K & 1K Run
- Choose the right distance for your child - .5K and 1K distance available
- Feel free to participate with your child in the run or spectate from the side
- Not a timed event
- Tour De Pere water bottle, kid games and beverage ticket for water
- All kid registrants will be entered into a drawing to win a kids bike from Broken Spoke!
In addition to the races, attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, a beer tent, and a block party atmosphere, making it a festive occasion for the whole community. The event is free to attend, and volunteers are welcome to help ensure its success.
