Description

The Jefferson County Cancer Coalition Cancer Walk, presented by UW Cancer Center, is a community gathering that allows everyone to fight back against cancer. Teams will put up a tent at the Fort Atkinson High School Track and Field and take turns walking or running around the track. At the event, participants celebrate survivors, remember loved ones lost, and learn more about how to fight back against cancer. The Cancer Walk will raise much-needed funds, while increasing awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and services available right here in Jefferson County.

Schedule of Events

10:00am - 11:00am: Registration and team site setup
11:00am: Opening Ceremony
11:15am: Survivor Group Photo & Survivor/Caregiver Lap
11:30am: Yoga
12:00pm: Music Jam Laps
12:30pm: Heads or Tails Fundraiser Game
1:00pm: Strength Training Class & Kids Lap
1:30pm: Remembrance Ceremony
1:45pm: Closing Ceremony
