Beer Garden 5K Cancelled / Postponed

Since our founding in 2010, Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC has committed to providing high-quality community events that focus on first-class memorable and, most importantly, SAFE experiences for athletes.
The Governor has extended his stay at home order through May 26th. All of our permits were pulled through May. In conjunction with the above, we are forced to cancel all events through May 26th.
All entries for owned events (First Call, Run From The Taxman, Rails to Trails, Mother's Day) will be deferred to next year or you can transfer it to any of our other races. For events that are not owned by SCSE, please see the individual race website.
Once our permits are released, we will open transfers & deferrals. Those will be good through the end of 2021 and you can use them on any SCSE event or gift the transfer to another person. If you really want, you can even sell it.
We have started to offer FREE virtual races and expect to offer them every weekend. We are hopeful COVID-19 will be mitigated soon. Once it is, and in conjunction with medical professionals, we will begin to offer limited capacity events. Register for FREE Virtual Run Series.
We have also reopened our gift certificates program. It gives you the ability to purchase a gift certificate for only $25 and use it on a more expensive event. We also extended the expiration dates through 2021.

Join Silver Circle Sports Events & Milwaukee County Parks for live music, beer and food trucks. In between....a 5K run/walk or walk. Everyone gets a free pint of Sprecher Beer or Sprecher Root Beer at the finish!

Save by registering for all four races at once! Can't make them all? No Worries, you can always transfer your bib to a friend.

Kiddos Run For FREE
There will be a Kids 1K run (under 10). All kids will get a bib just like Mom & Dad. The race is FREE for the kiddos if Mom or Dad is registered and you can register on line at no charge. Sorry no shirts for the kiddos but they do get a finisher medal.
SCSE Wants to Save You Money
At registration checkout, you will be given the option to share to Facebook that you've registered for a super fun event with SCSE! For every 3 people you get to register for the same event using your unique link, you'll get $10 back from your registration.
On your emailed registration receipt, there will be a registration link that you can forward to your friends to let them know they should join you on your next adventure! For every 3 friends you get to register for the event using your unique email link, you'll get $10 back on your registration!
TShirts
The shirts cotton unisex and those registered noon May 13 are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts be available while on line supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come first serve basis.

Awards
Age group medals for 1st - 3rd male & female in 5 year age brackets.
Team Awards:
Fastest team with at least 4 members (four fastest scores used to calculate time) - free beer for each team member (4).
Largest team - free stein for team leader & 1 refill to share all your new friends
Average Joe & Jane Awards
At all Silver Circle Sports Events 5K, we will award the Average Joe & Jane award. The award goes to the male and female that finish exactly in the middle of their division will received receive a super sexy Average Joe / Average Jane shirt, flowers and an free entry into a SCSE 5K event of your choice.

Course
Juneau Park is in the heart of Milwaukee perched above Lake Michigan. The race starts in Juneau Park then joins the Oak Leaf Trail (paved) for a downhill sprint towards Lake Michigan. This is an out an back course turning right before the E Lafayette Bridge. Make the turn for a fast race back, well expect for that little hill right before the finish!
Aid Station
There will be one aid station on course at mile 1.5.

Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers for everything from aid station help to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. All volunteers can run a future SCSE 5K for FREE!
