About the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation
In 1995, community leaders established the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) partner of the Wisconsin State Fair. The Foundation has been here ever since to provide donors with a pathway to contribute to our beloved Fair and play a role in improving aging buildings, supporting programming and creating personal legacies at the Fair Park.
Our Collective Impact
Over the past six years, the Foundation has funded more than $730,000 toward projects and programs of the State Fair thanks to the generosity of individual donors and corporate sponsors. Thanks to donors like you, we are able to fund:
Central Park - In 2023, Central Park got a "makeover" with a new fountain and seating area. The fountain, named "1851 Steel and Stone," pays tribute to the history of the Fair, and a historical marker commemorates a visit by President Abraham Lincoln. In 2024, we continued to improve Central Park and the Amphitheater areas with $45,000 in new seating.
Ag Education – The Foundation funds “Ag Discovery Day” at the fair park every spring. The day is designed to give students a better understanding of the agriculture industry in the state.
Art Programs - The Foundation supports visual arts programs including Plein Air at the Fair for Wisconsin artists and performing arts groups such as the Kids from Wisconsin.
Thank you for supporting the Foundation! Learn more at www.wsfpfoundation.org.
