Description
If you have never been to the Historic Forest Home Cemetery, you will not want to miss this race! You will not believe the stunning beauty of the cemetery located on over 200 acres of rolling hills, ponds, bridges, fall colors and 168 years of Milwaukee history. This is a family friendly timed run/walk that will kick your Halloween celebrations off Boo-tifully!
All proceeds benefit Aurora's Family To Family and the Forest Home Historic Preservation Association.

Course
This awesome 5K course will take you on a tour of Milwaukee history. You will run by the final resting place of the “Beer Barons” including the families of Schlitz (Uihlein), Pabst, and Blatz. The course routes you by the monuments and headstones of the people who built Milwaukee including Plankinton, Kilbourn, Downer, Layton, Vliet, Hawley, Bartlett, Cramer, and famous industrialists including Falk, A.O. Smith, Harnischfager, Vilter, Pfister, Vogel, Bradley, Mitchell, Allis, Nordberg, to name a few. The Forest Home Cemetery brings with it a beauty and the treasure of Milwaukee’s past.
