Description
Tour of America's Dairyland (ToAD) presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is the largest competitive road cycling event in the United States, featuring multiple amateur and Pro categories for 11 consecutive days in 11 Wisconsin communities. In 2013, an average of 650 racers competed daily for more than $150,000 in cash and primes before an estimated 160,000 passionate, dasherboard-banging, cowbell-clanging fans.
The 2014 schedule features 10 criteriums, including two days of racing on the USA Cycling NCC Calendar, and one road race. Generous cash payouts (including equal payouts for Pro Men and Pro Women), hefty primes, daily winners' jerseys, category-specific omnium leaders' jerseys, safe courses, on-time starts, improved results postings, over 1,100 cartons of Wisconsin lowfat chocolate milk per day for recovery, and more all make up this professionally-produced series, which celebrates its 6th year in 2014.
