Description

It's time to start running again. Socially distanced of course. 

The Let's Run Wisconsin event is held over two days. Because there is a cap on the number of entries available, early registration is encouraged. Our social distancing plan EXCEEDS Waukesha County requirements. You can both events each day, but the tshirts are the same. When registering, opt out of a shirt and save $5.00.

RACE UPDATE | Race Day Instructions

We are going to move everything to Sunday morning. If Sunday works for you, you do not need to do anything. We will move your entry.

If you registered for Saturday and the Sunday schedule won't work, contact us and we will refund your entry. Please do so asap so we can open your spot for others.

If the combination of the three events on Sunday does not exceed the capacity limits, we will move all the races to a 8:00am start. If you can't make 8:00am, just let us know and we can arrange for a late start. Sorry for the changes, but we are trying to accommodate everyone's need while exceeding social distance guidelines.

Race Courses

Over 90% of the race is through Nashotah Park's forests and past both Forest Lake and Grass Lake.  The trails are wide and are groomed year round.  The 5K is one loop around the inner course and the 5 mile is one lap around the outside loop. The half is two loops around the outside and one lap on the inside. These are the same courses as the Mother's Day and Sweetest Day runs at Nashotah.

About Nashotah Park

This will be a wave start race. Waves of 10 people will start every minute. There will be 10 rows of cones with 10 cones per row spaced 10 feet apart. You will self assign your wave on race day by selecting the wave and standing next to the cone. The announcer will start each wave. We ask that people social distance at least 6 feet while in the park and wait until 10 minutes prior to select your wave. Your time will not start until you cross the start line. As you make your way from the wave to the start, please continue to socially distanced by 10 feet.

Once finished, please clear the race area so we can bring in the second race. 

Maps are not to scale. The start area is over 5 acres allowing for plenty of social distancing.

 

Tshirts

Tshirts are unisex cotton and guaranteed until June 17th. After that, they will be available while supplies last.

Packet Pickup & Schedule

PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!

You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

At registration checkout, you will be given the option to share to Facebook that you've registered for a super fun event with SCSE! For every 3 people you get to register for the same event using your unique link, you'll get $10 back from your registration.

On your emailed registration receipt, there will be a registration link that you can forward to your friends to let them know they should join you on your next adventure! For every 3 friends you get to register for the event using your unique email link, you'll get $10 back on your registration!

Awards

Overall Male & Female will receive medals. Top 3 male & female finishers in 5 year age groups will receive a custom medal.  

Half marathoners will receive a finish medal that will be available on site.

On Course Bag Drop

Because we cannot guarantee a touch-free aid station, there are no aid stations on course or at the finish line. You should bring your own water.

There will be an on-course bag drop area for you to leave your nutrition and hydration items. It is just west of the volleyball courts. Please place your bag in the designated bag drop area before the race and space it 10’ from other bags. Both sides of the path can be used. This is a self-placement and self-serve bag drop. We will not be transporting bags on course. Don’t worry, there is plenty of time and space for you to self-place your bag. Besides, do you really want some yahoo touching your water bottle?

We need volunteers for everything from goody bag stuffing to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance.  All volunteers can run a future race at no charge.
