It's back! The Wisconsin Winter Trail Assail Trail Run & Snowshoe event. Join us Saturday, January 28th at Nashotah for a fun filled 2.4 mile / 4.8 mile run or snowshoe!

The courses use the brown hiking trail & blue hiking trails at Nashotah Park.
2.4 mile course - One lap counter clockwise
4.8 mile course - Two laps counter clockwise

Finisher Woodles
Everyone will receive a custom hand-made medal from our race partner: Ridgeway Woodworks. What's a woodle? It is a finisher medal made from reclaimed wood!
Tshirts
Everyone who is registered by noon 14 days prior to the event will be guaranteed a custom cotton t-shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About t-shirts.
Smores!
New for 2023 Smores!
That's right! We will have a bonfire and smores for you to toast!
Rentals
Don't have snowshoes, but want to hang out with the cool kids? The good folks at Nordic Specialist have them for rent, and we will even bring them to the event for you! You must order them by January 25th.
Timing
The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line.

PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!
You do not need to print it. We will need to scan the QR code on the receipt, though, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library.

Parking
Parking is available at the parks. There is a $6.00 county park day pass or an annual pass required. Both the annual pass and daily pass must be purchased online BEFORE the event. There is NO in person payment available.
Insurance
Insurance is available for almost all of our events. The insurance is offered through a third party. Here is the fine print:
Registration protection options allow your race participants to get reimbursed up to 100% if they cannot attend the event for a number of reasons, including covered injury, illness, traffic accidents, and more. Registration Protector with Required to Work has the added benefit of protection in the instance that a race participant is required to work for a covered reason.
Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. Insurance benefits are underwritten by Jefferson Insurance Company. AGA Service Company is the licensed producer and administrator of these plans.
Registration Protection - The insurance premium is 6.75% of the registration cost (including processing fee), with a minimum insurance premium of $7.99 per registrant.

How to transfer, defer, change shirt sizes and change distance
- Login into RunSignUp.com
- Select your Profile.
- Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
- Select "Manage Registration".
- All of your options will be listed in the menu.
*Deferrals must be completed 14 days prior to event.

Make it a family affair. Bring the kiddos for a FREE Kiddos 1K run or snowshoe! BTW there is a top secret sledding hill at Nashotah. We would tell you where it is, but you are going to have to show up to find out.
