READY TO RUN A NIGHT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS 5K?
Join Silver Circle Sports & The City of Oconomowoc Parks, Recreation & Forestry for a night Christmas Lights 5K run / walk! Not up to the 5K, take the 2 mile walk. There will be Christmas lights along the course. St. Nick will bring all runners a custom finisher's medal.
We moved the start line to Fowler Park. That means you get to run through all of the downtown lights AND we will lead the Oconomowoc Christmas Parade! Most runners will be able to finish the race and catch part of the parade.

Age group awards for male & female 0-14 and then every 5 year increments.

Every year Oconomowoc replaces $5,000 in lights and it takes almost a month to install them. We ask that you help support this tradition by making a contribution.

T-shirts
Everyone who is registered by noon Wednesday, November 19th will be guaranteed a custom shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About t-shirts.
Parking
We strongly encourage you to park your sleigh downtown. If you decide to park near Fowler, you will want to exit the city to the north and then to highway 67. The parade will close down most of the south side of the city.
The start line is approximately 0.4 miles from Fowler Park unless you have mastered walking on water. In that case, it is only 0.2 miles.
St. Paul's is having their service at 3:00pm on race day. Please do not park in their lot or you will be on the naughty list.
Timing
Because of the change in course, this will be a gun start. Your time will start when the announcer says GO! It will stop when you cross the finish line.
Hey, It's Winter!
Disclosure! Warning! Disclosure! Warning!
This is a NIGHT run which means it will be DARK. Unless you are an owl, you should consider wearing a running vest with lights & head lamp. This race is also in December, in Wisconsin. There may be snow - a little snow or a couple feet of snow - be prepared to run in snow. Did we mention it is a NIGHT race, it will be DARK, and there could be SNOW?
Course
New Course for 2021! We changed the route because it was becoming unsafe on the path. This year, the route will be on lite Oconomowoc streets.
The start line is located at Fowler Park, and we will lead the Christmas Parade! Runners head south on Oakwood to Wisconsin Ave where all the Christmas lights are.
The road will be closed and lined with people waiting for the Christmas Parade!
Note the run walk is 3.03 miles.
Volunteers
Register to be Santa's Little Helper. All helpers can run a future event for free!
