Do you love homemade kraut? How about jalapeno, habenero or straight up old fashion kraut? This is your chance to learn how to make it hands on!

How It Works

We will provide everything you need to make homemade kraut. The only thing you need to bring is a food processor with a slicing blade. Don't have one, no worries you can help with prep and assembly. You will learn how to make home made kraut. Trust us, it is a simple process.

It will take a couple hours to slice and make the kraut. We will ferment the kraut and can it for you. That process takes about 45 days depending on the weather. We will then reconvene to stuff jars and can the kraut. You will get one jar, but can purchase more for $5.00 per jar.

Kraut Flavors

  • Traditional
  • Jalepeno
  • Habenero

Don't see a flavor on the list? Let us know and we can make it.

What Do I Get & What Does It Cost?

We will provide one jar of kraut. It costs $5 to participate which is the cost of the raw materials.  If there is any additional kraut available, we will sell those for $5.00 per jar. We ask that you save the jar and return it to us once you finish the delicious kraut.

Kraut FAQ

What is in Kraut?

Hold on tight for this complicated list: cabbage, salt

How it is made?

Mix the cabbage & kraut, wait, put in a jar, eat.

How long will it last?

If you need to ask this question, you don't love kraut. In our house, a jar last a couple days. Most people say it will last canned for a year or two, but we have had vintage kraut that is perfect.

What do you ferment it in?

A garbage can. Really! We use the same plastic 20 gallon cans each year. Don't worry, they are cleaned before we make the kraut and before storage.

I heard kraut is good for you?

Yep, it has been proven to cure anything. We just can't find any medical proof.
