Don't stop your marathon training because, YES we are doing a real, in person, road marathon! Permits in hand. Please note this is NOT a certified course.
We have moved the start time to 8:00am (see schedule below). Early packet pickup is available Friday, October 2nd from 4:00pm-5:00pm at our office. Race day packet pickup opens at 7:00am at the race site.
Not ready for an in person race? We get it and now offer a virtual option. Download the RaceJoy app and run the race anytime between September 27th & October 4th. Your results will be automatically uploaded! Your shirt and medal will be mailed to the address you used during registration after the race.
Thanks to our title sponsor Brewfinity, there will be free beer at the finish line for runners.
All marathon finishers receive a custom finisher medal.
This is a super flat and fast course with a total elevation gain of 78 feet! Course map. The course is not certified and can not be used to qualify for a sanctioned race.
The Brewfinity Marathon starts and finishes at Genesee Lake Road Park. The course is a 6.55 mile out and back (4X) along Genesee Lake Road and Golden Lake Road.
This will be a wave start race. Waves of 10 people will start every 30 seconds. There will be 10 rows of cones with 10 cones per row, spaced 10 feet apart. You will self-assign your wave on race day by selecting the wave and standing next to a cone. The announcer will start each wave. We ask that people social distance at least 6 feet while in the park and wait until 10 minutes prior to select your wave. Your time will not start until you cross the start line. As you make your way from the wave area to the start, please continue to social distance by 10 feet.
Based on our current permits, face coverings are now required at events. Here is how it will work:
Anyone in the “Arena” is required to wear a face covering. The Arena is defined as anywhere other than on the race course. This includes registration, packet pickup, parking areas, finish line, start line, restrooms, beer line, medal line, anywhere near other people. If you are within 10’ of anyone, at any time, a face covering is required.
Once you are on course, face coverings do not need to be worn, provided you are at least 10 feet from another person. At the start, you are spaced 10’ from others - we strongly encourage you to keep that distance. If you need to pass, call out “on your left” and move as far left as you can. Once you have passed a runner and you are at least 10’ in front of them, move back to the right.
We encourage runners to consider using running buffs while running near others. Buffs are available on our merchandise website.
When you cross the finish line, please move outside of the arena for your cool down. Once your cool down is complete, a face covering is again required.
If we want to keep running in person events together (and we do!), it is imperative that we exceed our permit requirements. Waukesha County is one of the few places in America that is open to in person events. It is up to our running community to prove that we can hold events safely.
PLEASE BRING YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOU!

The shirts are gender specific, dry wick and those registered by noon on September 23rd are guaranteed a custom race shirt. After that, shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis.
Everything you ever wanted to know about shirts can be found right here. The FEMALE shirts run small!
Because we cannot guarantee a touch-free aid station, there are no aid stations on the course or at the finish line. You should bring your own water.
There will be two on-course bag drop areas:
1. The start/finish
2. The turn
There will be an on-course bag drop area for you to leave your nutrition and hydration items. We recommend that you drive to the bag drop location before checking in at packet pickup. Please place your bag in the designated bag drop area before the race and space it 10’ from other bags. Both sides of the road can be used, but please place them on the grass and not the road. This is a self-placement and self-serve bag drop. We will not be transporting bags on course. Don’t worry, there is plenty of time and space for you to self-place your bag. Besides, do you really want some yahoo touching your water bottle?
This race is open to crewing. The best place to crew is the intersection of Genesee Lake Road & Gold Lake Road, but please distance your crew at least 20' from another crew team and please respect the neighbors.
Our mission is to provide homes and home modifications to America’s military Heroes and the widows of the fallen who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and values creating a solid foundation for them to move forward with their lives.
