Peshtigo Fire Tower Run

Welcome to Peshtigo’s 28th annual Fire Tower Run. This is a 10K run leaving Peshtigo’s city limits, following the contour of the Peshtigo River. Then a nice run through the woods to go where the Peshtigo Fire Tower once stood. Upon rounding this secluded spot, a quick jaunt through the woods will take you back on course to the city of Peshtigo. Finishing in Bulldog Stadium. 

If your not quite ready for the 10K run, we also offer a 5K run or a 5K walk. This course takes you through the back streets of Peshtigo’s lovely Badger Park. Finishing in Bulldog Stadium.

Awards

All children 9 years old and younger will receive a completion award when crossing the finish line.

For both the 5K and 10K run; awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers overall for both the men and women. Also 1st place will be awarded for the top finishers in each age divisions.

For the 5K walk; awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers overall for both men and women. There will be no awards for divisions. Divisions will be based on age for both male and female in each event.

Age divisions are 9 and under, 10-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80, 80 and older.

Safety

For everyone’s safety and experience, please be aware of fellow competitors around you. Runners should be courteous. There will be ample water stations, volunteers, and medical personal throughout the course.

Registration 

The 2016 Fire Tower Run registration is open now and online registration is highly encouraged.

Please note the registration fees, methods, and dates:

• $20 online or $25 if mailed in from now through August 31st

• $25 online or $30 if mailed in from Sept. 1st through September 22th.

• $35 in person registration with cutoff at 7:30am day of race.

Participants registering prior September 14, 2015 will receive a long sleeve, dry wick event shirt on day of race. Registration after September 14, 2015 will also receive a long sleeve, dry wick event shirt. However; there will be no guarantee of size or that it will be available on race day. Arrangements for pickup will be made.

All pre-registered participants can pick their race packet up from 6:30am to 7:30am on the race day at Bulldog stadium.
