As a reminder, items will not be available/shipping until all orders have been placed and things arrive. This will most likely be a couple weeks after the race concludes as we are placing our final orders on June 1. We are doing this so we don't buy too many extras and so we can save as much as possible for Mountain Mission. We ask for your patience and just know that you will be updated as things progress.

Complete either distance within the month of May and you will automatically receive a Shirt and Medal!
Anyone can participate but we do ask that you follow social distancing and the limitation on group gatherings. Use this opportunity as a way to come together virtually and stay motivated to stay active/exercise for a great cause!

FAQs
What exactly is a Virtual Run?
Since we are unable to run together, a Virtual Run is a Run/Walk at your own location/time (on the roads, treadmill, trails, etc). Everything is up to you and you can choose your own time/course.
What distances are we offering?
We wanted to give runners of all levels the ability to participate so we selected both a Half Marathon and a 5K. Since so many events have been cancelled/postponed we want to give everyone the opportunity to show off their training. Everyone is welcome to participate!
What are the important dates to keep in mind?
You have all of May to run your distance. We will be collecting all results between May 1st - May 31st. You will receive instructions on how to submit results and please be on the lookout as well for the Facebook Event Page where you can stay connected with other participants.
Once registration closes we will be placing the final orders for all the swag items.
Once the swag items arrive we will:
1. Ship it to you if you live far away or simply aren’t able to do one of our no contact pickups.
2. Be hosting several no contact pickups at various locations. We will keep those who selected this option up to date once those details are decided.
What items will I receive by participating?
All participants will receive a shirt and medal with their registration. We will also be offering additional swag items for participants that raise a certain amount of funds for Mountain Mission. Information for that can be found under the Fundraising Section (see below). We will also be having a few small giveaway items that will be drawn randomly.
How will I get my swag items?
During registration you will be asked if you would be interested in a no-contact pickup. If you are able, we would love to have you come to one of these no-contact pickups (dates/locations TBD) to help us save funds on shipping (and thus raise more for Mountain Mission).
However, if this is something you are unable to do (for example, if you live in Florida) then we will be glad to mail out your swag!
Please keep in mind that this event lasts the entire month of May. Our current plan is to order our swag once registration closes and have it all arrive sometime in June. Once it arrives we will coordinate the pickups and the shipments for those that want it delivered. Again, we will keep you all updated on this process so you know when your swag will arrive!

Become a Fundraiser for Mountain Mission!
Help us raise funds for Mountain Mission by becoming a Race Fundraiser! By doing so you are helping out a great cause that is in need of help due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
We encourage everyone to collect pledges for the entire month of May for your total mileage.
For example, if Participant A collects a pledge of $0.25/mile and ends up running 100 miles - then that pledge would equal $25!
It's a great way to stay motivated to run throughout the entire month as well as collect funds for Mountain Mission. You can also simply make a donation while registering and if you donate enough for a Milestone you will receive those items!
Rewards will go to participants who reach certain milestones. We will also be giving out some special awards for the runner/walker who does the most mileage and who collects the highest amount in fundraising.

Fundraising Milestones:
$100 = Fundraising Medal and Wristband
$200 = Hat, Fundraising Medal and Wristband
$300 = Singlet, Hat, Fundraising Medal and Wristband
$400 = Jacket, Singlet, Hat, Fundraising Medal and Wristband
$500 = Appreciation Plaque, Jacket, Singlet, Hat, Fundraising Medal and Wristband

Kids Half Marathon - $30
Kids 5K - $20
If you register for both the Half Marathon and 5K at the same time, you will receive a $10 Discount.
Please note that you will only receive one shirt but you will receive both medals!
Pricing includes race shirt and custom medal shipped directly to you!
You can also decide not to receive a race shirt and you will save $5.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR VIRTUAL RESULTS
To do so - simply login to your RunSignUp Account and click on "Upcoming Events" under your Profile.
Then find the race and simply click on "Submit Virtual Results". An example image is below.
You can also access the Submission Form by clicking this LINK and hitting "Submit Virtual Results".
As a reminder, all Virtual Results must be submitted by May 31st at MIDNIGHT.
