Sophia's Run

Sophia's Run is to honor Sophia's long journey with breast cancer by running or walking to raise awareness of advanced illness care with proceeds to benefit patient care for West Virginia Caring, formerly Hospice Care Corporation.  WV Caring,  a local a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization, is dedicated to serving terminally ill individuals and their families transitioning through life-limiting illness.  WV Caring provides care for patients regardless of their age or ability to pay for services; and, doesn’t refuse patients based on the cost of their care, but solely on their right to receive it.  WV Caring was founded in 1983 and serves 12 counties in North Central West Virginia.

Race is located at the Trail in Star City near 84 Lumber.  And, on-site registration will be available for the day of the race at 7:30 AM
