UniWyo's Run Away from 2020 Virtual Race

Are you ready to run away from 2020?

Rather than run away, let's come together virtually and run for charity and some cool swag! 

How do I join?

1. Click SIGN UP to officially join the race.
2. Pay the $20 entry fee. 
3. Choose whether you'd like to donate to United Way of Albany or Laramie county. (This is not required.)
4. Run, walk, or roll any distance, at anytime over the course of the race, from August 1st - 8th, 2020.
5. Share a picture of you and/or your crew, on the move, on Instagram or Facebook, tag UniWyo, and use #UniWyoVirtualRace to be entered to WIN various daily prizes from local businesses and have a chance at winning the $250 CASH GRAND PRIZE! (There are no prizes awarded for race results.)
6. Invite your friends to join the fun! Share your race referral code with friends/family, when they sign up using your unique referral link, you'll earn 5 bonus entries toward the $250 cash grand prize for each one! (You'll receive this link in your registration confirmation email.)

What do I receive for joining?

With your race entry, you will also receive a commemorative Run Away from 2020 t-shirt, race medal, and stickers - just for your participation in the race! You will also have the chance to win additional prizes throughout the race. Lastly, you will receive a sense of accomplishment, for getting out there, being active, and raising money for our United Way agencies. We will mail your race swag items to the address used on your registration.

What charities am I racing for?

Donations to United Way are NOT required to participate in the race, it is optional. UniWyo will donate $1 for every mile submitted, up to $1,000, to the United Way agencies in Albany and Laramie Counties. 

How do I submit my mileage?

Submit your mileage by August 8th at 10pm by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of the screen. You may submit your miles all at once or after each activity (ie. multiple times throughout the week) and runsignup.com will add them up for you!

Are prizes awarded for race results?

No prizes will be awarded for race results. Participants may enter the daily prize and grand prize drawing once per day, August 1st-8th, 2020. Daily prize and grand prize winners will be drawn at random.

* Registration is limited and closes at 11:59pm on August 7th, 2020. If you register after July 27th, 2020, you may not receive your race swag until after the race has ended.
