YWCA Purple Glow Run

Join YWCA for the 2nd Annual Purple Glow Run!  This run is an awareness event as part of Domestic Violence Awareness month activities.  This is a family-friendly event that offers a way to remember those who lost their lives to violence and abuse but also to celebrate those who have survived their abuse and are living new lives free of violence.  We will have information on services in the community and sandwiches and snacks for those attending.  The 5K run/walk will start and end at Young at Heart Senior Center and start at dusk to show off the purple glow.   Check In:   6:45pm;   Ceremony begins:  7:00pm  (race starts after the ceremony).  

Deck yourself out in purple!   Come as a team with themed shirts!  Or just show up and pick up some free 'Glow Swag" in the form of glow bracelets and join the fun.  #Showywcasyourpurple  Help us spread the word about how domestic violence affects individuals and their community.  Be a part of making a difference in your community.
