Bib/Swag Pickup & Check In
Race Check-in - Bib/T-shirt Pickup:
Racers can check in and pickup swag at two locations/times. Please consider picking up Friday to reduce lines and wait time morning of the race. Race registration will be open for new racers until 9am Sat. 28th both online (paying with credit card) or at check-ins (paying with cash).
- Friday, September 27th, 4-7pm at our Platinum Sponsor the Ramada Plaza Inn. 1809 Sugarland Dr, Sheridan.
- Saturday, September 28th, 9am until the start of your race at Thorne Rider Park.

When:
10:00am - Youth 1 mile starts - parents welcome to walk/run alongside youth
11:00am - 5k Race starts (youth and adult)
9:00am-11:30am - Kids Zone first responder vehicle tours!
11:30am through Race Awards - Black Tooth Brewing CO will be serving (must show ID)Race Awards - asap following the final racer crossing the finish line
Where:
Thorne Rider Park - 307 W 14th St, Sheridan. Parking west of the ball field, please respect the cones in the parking lot.
Other:
- Registration will remain open until 9am Saturday if any additional runners would like to register. New registrations can be completed online or in person during our check-in/pickup.
- Registered racers will receive a token/coupon for one free drink (alcoholic or nonalcoholic). Those over 21 must show ID to be served alcohol.
- Stroller use is welcome but we will ask strollers to que behind non stroller runners at the start line.
- A water station will be present along the 5k route.
- No dogs on the race route please.
- Teams - you may still join/create a team (Business, LEO, First Responder). Simply login to your registration to add/create, or contact us and we are happy to help.
- Registered runners under the age of 21 will not receive a beer glass, but will all receive a finisher medal.
- Top 3 placers in each age division with receive a medal and award.
Description
Our Why:
Sgt. Nevada Krinkee was an army veteran and served the community of Sheridan WY for 7 years on the Sheridan Police Department. On February 13, 2024 at the age of 33, Sgt. Krinkee was killed in the line of duty. His family has created the race to provide the opportunity for the community to remember and celebrate his service and life. 100% of profits will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors, C.O.P.S. C.O.P.S is an organization dedicated to assisting the families of fallen officers. Is This Race For You?
This race is for anyone who would like to celebrate and honor the life and service of Sgt. Nevada Krinkee and support Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S) where all profits will be donated to. Walk, Jog, Run - all welcome! No dogs - Nevada was a huge dog lover so we hope to one day allow dogs to join their owners, however, this year we ask that you leave your pups at home. Strollers allowed.
Team Options - participants may run as individuals or organize teams. Individuals entered in a team will also be eligible for individual awards.

Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) Teams - Groups/team of individuals and/or spouses of individuals employed as law enforcement officers (Police, Sheriff, Highway Patrol). Teams made up of only Law Enforcement Officers/Spouses should register as a LEO team.

First Responder Teams - Groups/team of individuals and/or spouses of individuals employed as first responders. Fire, EMS, Paramedic, LEO, Emergency Medical personnel or any combination. Teams made up of only Law Enforcement Officers/Spouses should register as a LEO team.
