10:00am - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts (youth timed & awarded, adults untimed)
Awards - Following conclusion of 1 Mile Fun Run
8:00am - 10:30am - Kids Fun Zone! Inflatable and First Responder Vehicle Tours!

Thorne Rider Park - 307 W 14th St, Sheridan. Parking west of the ball field, please respect the cones in the parking lot.

Happy Hour Pricing for all Race participants 11-7pm!
Wing It Food Truck present from 11-7pm. Knuckles plays live music 7-10pm. Kids allowed on patio space.

Race Check-In - Bib/Swag Pickup:
Racers can check in and pickup swag at two locations/times. Please consider picking up Friday to reduce lines and wait time morning of the race. Race registration will be open for new racers until 8:30am Sat. 13th both online (paying with credit card) or at check-ins (paying with cash).

Racers who registered before Aug. 24th are guaranteed shirt orders regardless of bib pickup date. Races who registered after Aug. 24th are encouraged to check in Friday the 12th as extra shirts will be given on a first come first serve basis.
Description
Our Why:
Sgt. Nevada Krinkee was an army veteran and served the community of Sheridan WY for 7 years on the Sheridan Police Department. On February 13, 2024 at the age of 33, Sgt. Krinkee was killed in the line of duty. His family has created the race to provide the opportunity for the community to remember and celebrate his service and life. In line with our non-profit mission “To honor the memory of Sgt. Nevada Krinkee by raising funds that support the causes he believed in”, the primary recipient of the 2025, second annual race profits will be the Sheridan YMCA Youth Soccer Program.

Is This Race For You?
This race is for anyone who would like to celebrate and honor the life and service of Sgt. Nevada Krinkee and support Sheridan YMCA Youth Soccer where the profits will be donated to. Walk, Jog, Run - all welcome! No dogs - Nevada was a huge dog lover so we hope to one day allow dogs to join their owners, however, this year we ask that you leave your pups at home. Strollers allowed.
5k Team Options - participants may run as individuals or organize teams. Individuals entered in a team will also be eligible for individual awards. Teams may include adults and/or youth.
