7:00 a.m. Race Day Check-in/packet pickup opens
7:00 a.m. All onsite activities and event village tents open
7:45 a.m. Pre-Race program begins and top fundraising awards announced!
8:00 a.m. 5K Run starts
8:15 a.m. 1-Mile Walk starts
9:45 a.m. All runners and walkers must be off the course. Zoo opens to the public at 10:00 a.m.
9:45 a.m. Critter Crawl Kids Dash Begins
10:00 a.m. Post-race program begins and finisher awards announced!
10:00 a.m. Meet Animal Ambassador 1
10:30 a.m. Meet Animal Ambassador 2
11:00 a.m. Onsite activities, vendor tents close, event ends
Pre-and Post-Race Programs

Pre-Race Program featuring special guest speakers, a fitness warm-up, and music by DJ Carl to pump you up on race day!

Post-Race Program at 10:30 a.m. to award top individual and team fundraisers. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers for the Male, Female, Non-Binary and Master (40+).
Animal Ambassadors
Stop by and meet some special guests throughout the event! Two Maryland Zoo Animal Ambassadors will stop by for a visit in the Waterfowl Pavilion at 10:00 and 10:30 a.m.
Mile Motivators
We are proud to showcase our incredible "Mile Motivators," who you will see featured at the upcoming Miracles in Motion 5K! Each of these patients has faced unique challenges, yet their spirit and resilience shine brightly as hope for children and families like theirs.
Together, these inspiring Hopkins kids embody the importance of our mission and remind us all why we are taking little steps for a big cause. Get ready to race and help us lead the way to a brighter, healthier future for all children.
Food and Beverage
Nothing Bundt Cakes will be selling Bundtlets onsite! 10% of all sales will be donated to support the Miracles in Motion 5K. Cash and credit card payments accepted.
Auntie Anne's Pretzels will be onsite with their food truck! A percentage of sales will be donated to the Miracles in Motion 5K. All forms of payment are accepted: cash, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Auntie Anne's will be offering hot pretzels, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more!
Complimentary post-race snacks and beverages are donated by our corporate partners and include bagels from THB Bagelry and Deli.

Johns Hopkins Pop-Up Shop
For the first time, Miracles in Motion is partnering with the Women's Board of Johns Hopkins Hospital to offer an on-site pop-up shop on race day! The shop will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This is your chance to purchase exclusive Johns Hopkins-branded swag plus other great family-friendly gifts and apparel. 5% of all sales will be donated to the Miracles in Motion 5K. Payments are taken by credit card.

Zoo Admission
Pre-purchased zoo admission wristbands can be picked up from the incentive tent on the day of the race. Same day zoo admission purchasing will be available. Admission valid for Saturday, September 26 only. The zoo is open from 10:00 - 4:00 p.m. daily.
