20th Annual Jamestown Swamp Run 5K 2021
COVID-19 Safety Protocol
Pre-event:
- On-line registration is available HERE.
- Virtual 5K also available.
- This event is capped at 200, race day registration highly discouraged.
- Pre-race day packet pickup and walk-up registration
- Packet pickup will be outside.
- Friday, March 5th, 6-7 p.m. (Jamestown High School)
- Saturday, March 6th, 8-8:45 a.m. (Jamestown High School)
Event-day:
- All events will be outside.
- Late registration(if available) and packet pickup
- Saturday, March 6th, 8-8:45 a.m. (Jamestown High School)
- If school restrooms are not available, we will have porta potties near the start/finish line.
- Based on current guidelines the race will be a wave start with 25 participants in each wave. Starting waves begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be spaced 2 minutes apart. This could change based on Virginia Department of Health restrictions at the time of the event.
- Your wave is determined by the projected finish time supplied at registration. Race day registrants will be in the last wave.
- Timing offsets will be applied per starting wave.
Masks:
- All spectators and volunteers are always required to wear masks during the event. If you do not have a mask, a disposable mask will be given to you.
- Race participants will be required to wear a mask prior to lining up for their prospective wave.
- Your cooperation is important to ensure the safety of others and make the event a successful one. We appreciate your understanding.
Post-race:
- Limited snacks will be available following the race.
- Awards will be presented outside following the race.
