WATER STOPS

There will be two water stops on the course located just before the one-mile mark and just after the two-mile mark.

POST RACE CELEBRATION

This race is a celebration to remember a young boy, Jared Coones, who never gave up. Awards for age group winners can be picked up immediately following the race. If you stay for the awards ceremony, you can receive your medal on stage! The awards ceremony will be held in the gym inside of the school.

CHIP TIMING

The Pumpkin Run will be utilizing chip timing. An electronic chip is located on the back of your race bib. Chip timing ensures your finish time is accurate whether you begin the race in the first or second wave.

FINISH LINE PHOTOS

The race will have a number of people taking photos on the course, around the race area, and most specifically at the finish.  These will be matched to your finish time or bib number and you will find them in your results online. 

REFRESHMENTS

Snack bags and water will be provided in the HY-VEE Food Tent

HOW TO WEAR YOUR RACE BIB

In order for the Timing to chip to work properly, please pin your number to the front of your shirt.

• Attach to your leg
• Cover with a Water Pack
