When is the race?

The Jim Schoemehl Run will be held on May 2, 2026. The start time for all racers will be at 7:30am.  

How can I donate money?

Will there be kids events?

We will have a kids area this year for ages twelve and below; children must be potty trained. 


When is packet pickup?

Packet pick-up is Friday, May 1st at Curate (8747 Big Bend Blvd, Webster Groves, MO 63119) from 12-6pm! 

Can I still register the day of the race?

Yes, however after April 20th the price to register will increase $10.


How much is it to register?

18 & under: $20 for 5K

Adult cost: $25 for 5K / $30 for 10K


Are bikes allowed? 

Bikes are not allowed. 


Who is the 2026 beneficiary?

 80% of all profit will be donated to our two beneficiaries, Emily Khan and David Komor, while the other 20% will be donated to the ALS Association of St. Louis.


Is a T-shirt included with registration?

A tee-shirt is included with the registration fee, but can also be purchased separately. If you register after April 15th, we will do our best to make sure you get a t-shirt; however, depending on demand, certain t-shirt sizes might sell out as we get closer to the race. 


Are pets allowed? 

We would love to see your furry friends, however, we ask that for the safety of others, you please stay towards the back of the race. 


Will there be water stations around the course?

We will have water stations around the course for rehydration, however, we do encourage racers to bring their own water bottles to carry. 


Is there designated parking for runners and participants?

While we do not have designated parking for all participants, parking will be available in the Webster Groves High School ‘B’ lot (the southmost lot), surrounding parking lots (library, Holy Redeemer, Webster University, etc.), and side streets. 


If you don't make the run, can you get a refund? 

No, all proceeds will be directed towards the cure for ALS.
