Description

2020 is a big year: Our 10th annual race and what would have been Mary Lea's 40th birthday on September 24th!

With your support, we have helped raise over $35,000 over the last ten years in memory of Mary Lea to help support 12 young Atchison High School women achieve their dreams at a Kansas university. We hope that you can help us by running, donating or volunteering in support of these young women and future recipients!

Many of you have already inquired if there would be a Joggin for the Noggin for 2020. COVID-19 has already done so much to change the normalcy of life, so it's with a heavy heart that we have decided to move our in-person race to a VIRTUAL format this year but hope to be back in person in 2021.

Running virtually is a unique opportunity as we invite everyone, everywhere to participate! Many of you may have participated in the run during the first couple of years but then moved, got busy, etc. This is your opportunity to run again in support of Mary Lea! Or maybe you've never got a chance to run in Atchison but would love the opportunity to run for her, this is your time! Or maybe you like to run and just need a reason: this is it!

Anytime during the month of September, run or walk a 5K or 2K in memory of Mary Lea at the location of your choice. Afterward, you'll have an opportunity to register your race time on our virtual race website. (You'll need to post your time by October 3rd to make it count! ) Wear a Joggin for the Noggin t-shirt for your run, snap a selfie and post that picture on the virtual race website or our Facebook page. We would love to see all the old t-shirts from prior years come out in those pictures!

Race fees include the 10th annual race t-shirt and a Joggin for the Noggin mask - special for this unique year!

(Items will be either delivered to you personally or mailed)

The race team thanks each and every participant and volunteer over the last 10 years. Without your support and dedication, we could have never imagined that 10 years later we are still running and walking in Mary Lea's memory.  THANK YOU!
