ICHD Be the One 5K

Please join the Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 9:00 am to help promote our “Be the One” campaign to promote and encourage mental and physical health. Be the one to encourage someone, be the one to take a stand, be the one to make a change, be the one to make a difference in the life of another. Come on out and run, walk, or just hang out to benefit Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc.

Everyone who comes out and participates has the power to “Be the One.”

Event details and schedule

The 5k course will be run at the scenic Coldwater Lake located just south of Coldwater, KS. This event will be timed and photographs of the start, finish and a portion of the race will be taken. Photographs will be available from the Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc. and a link will be provided on this site to view photos after the race. 

The race will begin at 9:00 am. Race day registration and packet pickup will start at 8:00 am on the day of the race. Awards will be given to the overall top three male and female finishers. 

Early entry fee for the 5K is $20. 5K Participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and grab bag. Those signing up late may have to wait until the t-shirt can be mailed to them.

Entry fee for the Kid’s Fun Run will be $15. Kid’s Fun Run Participants will receive a t-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Those signing up late may have to wait until the t-shirt and finisher’s medal can be mailed to them.

Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc. is a Non-Profit Mental Health Center serving a rural area in Southwest Kansas with our main office located in Greensburg, KS. Our agency provides mental health services for individuals of all ages within our four county catchment area (Clark, Comanche, Edwards, and Kiowa) regardless of their ability to pay for services.
