MGCO Backs the Blue 5K & Community Day is an event which celebrates officers who put their lives on the line daily to keep our communities safe and to honor those who have fallen in the line of duty. While officers give to the community on a daily basis, it is now our time to come out and celebrate and honor them!

Check-in:  7:30 am
8:30 am – Donut Dash 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
9:00 am – MGCO Backs the Blue 5K

Walkers and runners of all ages and experience levels are welcome in both the 1 Mile and 5K.  This is a family friendly event, strollers are also welcome.

ENTRY FEE:

MGCO Backs the Blue 5K
$30 – registrations received through Friday, April 27 will include an event t-shirt

Donut Dash 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
$15 – registrations received through Friday, April 27 will include an event t-shirt

AWARDS FOR 5K:

Awards will be given to overall Top Female and Top Male, as well as winners in each age category. The race will be timed by Timer Guys from El Dorado, KS – chips will be provided in race packets on the back of the race bib. Age categories are: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & Up.

CANCELLATION STATEMENT:

Race administrators reserve the right, in the event of an emergency or natural disaster, to cancel the race or to change the day and/or time.  All entry fees are non-refundable.
