Description
Saturday, March 27, 2021; We challenge you to run in celebration of Women's History Month 2021. If you are up to the challenge and want to pay homage to Sojourner Truth, come run with us! This is your chance to show the world who runs it. Men are welcomed to join in the celebration. The first female or male overall winner will receive a full registration refund. If you choose to accept our challenge, register now.
For our In person runners, we will all meet up at Hammonds park in Junction City, KS to start at the sound of the gun. We will run the course on open roads. Our virtual runners will be timed on their own. Although the in person race will be timed, we will not block off the route from on coming traffic or allow vendors (in hopes that this will eliminate gatherings due to COVID outbreaks). The in person run will also be limited to 20 - 30 participants. For our virtual runners, immediately after completing a 5K/10K run/walk on Saturday, March 27th, submit your results to us. You’ll get to open up your personal swag-box which will include everything you need to make your run extra special!

Beneficiary:
The USCT Association is our official beneficiary for the 2021 Sweetheart 5k! The USCT Association has an college fund that is donates to all USCT members. This run is particularly supporting their scholarship fund.
Awards breakdown: First Place Overall Female, First Place Masters female, and 1 deep in each age group - Mens & Womens 10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Note: For our in person race. there needs to be no less than 10 registrants. If there is less than 10 participants, all registrants will be switched to our virtual event and a race day packet will be mailed to you. There will be No Race Day Registration!
