KANSAS RELAYS 5K Presented by RCB Bank

The 2nd Annual KANSAS RELAYS 5K Presented by RCB Bank is a one of a kind race starting and ending on the University of Kansas track at Rock Chalk Park, and incorporating portions of surrounding roads and the Lawrence Loop.

The race starts at 7:00am and participants have one hour to finish, so the track can be cleared in time for the resumption of the KANSAS RELAYS track meet. All participants will receive a custom race shirt and finisher's medal featuring the world famous KANSAS JAYHAWK.

• Top 3 overall and top 2 masters (40+) will receive the following:
  • 1st Place Overall -- $50 gift certificate to Ad Astra Running + Kansas Relays watch
  • 2nd Place Overall -- $40 gift certificate to Ad Astra Running
  • 3rd Place Overall -- $30 gift certificate to Ad Astra Running
  • 1st Place Masters -- $40 gift certificate to Ad Astra Running + Kansas Relays watch
  • 2nd Place Masters -- $30 gift certificate to Ad Astra Running

• Age group winners will receive $20 gift certificates to Ad Astra Running: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75-79, and 80+.

• PACKET PICK-UP:
  • Friday, April 19th:  3:00pm - 7:00pm at Ad Astra Running (835 Massachusetts, Lawrence, KS, 66044)
  • Saturday, April 20th:  6:00am - 6:30am at Rock Chalk Park (northeast of the track, near flagpoles)

• VIRTUAL OPTION: Receive a race shirt and official finisher’s medal for your commitment to walk or run a 5K at a place and time of your own choosing! Submitting results is not required. Shipping is included to addresses outside Lawrence, KS; items will ship in late-April, after the running of the in-person race. Virtual participants residing in Lawrence, KS, once notified, can pick up their shirt & medal in person at Ad Astra Running, 835 Massachusetts, during regular store hours (M-F 10-7, Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5).
