BabyJay's Legacy of Hope is an organization that helps kids and their families who are battling a cancer diagnosis, and the health of our families is of utmost importance to us. With that in mind we've made the difficult decision to charge our 5th Annual Rexy Run into a virtual run only.
We will be offering fun and unique ideas that we will share that will make the virtual Rexy Run still amazing!
Rexy Run 5K/10K/ Kids Run
The 5th Annual Rexy Run/Walk is back, but as a virtual run only.
The Rexy Run is hosted by BabyJay's Legacy of Hope, a 501C based out of Lawrence that helps families with children who are fighting cancer. We help offset the extra expenses families have that are not covered by health insurance. For the third year we will be donating a portion of our proceeds directly to a local family who has a child fighting cancer.
All childhood cancers combined receive less than 4% of the National Institute of Health's budget and our children with cancer deserve to have #MoreThan4. Several Kansas City area childhood cancer organizations have joined together in an effort to change that statistic through our "More Than 4 Run/Walk 5K Circuit"
Each organization hosts their own 5K in the Kansas City area and when you participate in ALL of the 5K's, you will receive a special 30K medal for your accomplishment and you will help increase support and funding for childhood cancers. You will be making a difference for children with cancer through your participation and you will crush 20K in the process!
Below are the participating organizations, race dates, and individual registration sites. You simply register for all of the 5k's, either in person or virtually, and you will receive your 30K medal when you cross the finish line at the final race which is the Hope On The Hill 5K on November 8. Medals will be mailed to virtual runners who are not present that day to receive theirs.
Join our collaborative effort and help us raise #MoreThan4 for children with cancer.
