Shoreline Shuffle

The Lawrence Trail Hawks are hosting the annual Shoreline Shuffle with 5K and 10K options! This race starts at Prairie Clover Campground near the western stair case and features our beautiful North Shore trails of Clinton Lake. Come run, walk or hike the trails for either the 5K or 10K option. This year, all proceeds will go to Monarch Watch, "an education, conservation, and research program based at the University of Kansas that focuses on the monarch butterfly, its habitat, and its spectacular fall migration." Monarch Watch was an important organization to Sarah "Our Hawk" Schmidt, one of the earliest Lawrence Trail Hawk members. We lost her as a running buddy in 2022, but her memory lives on with us.

This is a pace and gender-inclusive race. Come enjoy the course at YOUR speed, whether that's walking or running. All participants will receive a distance-specific finisher's award.
