Season Sunset 5k

Looking to run a lifetime best 5k? Come join us at the University of St. Mary track for the first annual Season Sunset 5k, presented by First City Track Club. This race will allow runners from the area the chance to run their fastest ever 5k on the track! If you've been itching for a 5k personal best then you won't want to miss this.

The elite 5k's are qualifier events and open to everyone that can meet the recommended standard. High school and elite events may be split into heats depending on the number of athletes signed up. If more than expected sign up, finalized heat sheets and start times will be posted 24 hours before the races begin. Elite and high school entrants must submit a recent 5km time (within 12 months of race date) during registration in order to qualify for those races. All qualifying times submitted will be verified. In lieu of t-shirts or finisher medals, we will be offering a small cash purse to our top 3 non-high school athletes in the elite heats. High school prizes TBD closer to the event.

Prizes:
1st M/W Elite - $100
2nd M/W Elite - $50
3rd M/W Elite - $25
