Description
The Annual Helen Gold 5K/10K charity event for Parkinson's disease research at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

This race is part of the Race KC Series, supported by the KC Track Club and RaceDay Timing, and heralded as one of the best-organized runs in the Metro area. This race is chipped-timed, your individual clock starts as soon as you pass over the mats located at the starting line, and likewise ends as you cross the mats at the finish line.
The Helen Gold 5K/10K walk-run charity event has grown from 400 runner-walkers in 2001 to over 1,000 participants. As a result, 100% of all contributions & registrations have helped raise over $700,000 for Parkinson's disease research at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
