Oxford Roundup 5k Redneck Run

Calling all my in-laws and out-laws to come join in the mostest fun this side of the Mississippi! On June 23rd, grab yur buddies and a pair of yur best britches to celebrate the funnest shindig of the season! Whether yur speedy as a roadrunner or slow as a turtle runnin' threw peanut butter, this is the 5k fur you!                                                                                                         
This little tritty trot starts at 9 am in Oxford's Napawalla Park, travels around them ol' back roads and finishes back in the park with one of them ol' inflatable obstacle coarse doohickeys. We plan on serenading you threw out the coarse with some live banjo players to really make you feel right at home in the sticks.                                                                                             
Git yurself some real speshul prizes for being best dressed redneck as well as a few other prizes for them speedy Gonzalez's. We ain't too formal round these parts tho so don't go gettin yur panties in a bunch if you gotta time yurself on this one.                                                                                                                                                                     
Cool them heels after the run with a bottle of that there high quality h20 and enter in 2 the pie eatin' contest or just join in the spectatin' of the sport. After the pie's gone you can pay to play on the obstacle coarse (we even have a smaller bounce house for them there little tadpoles) All proceeds go toward the renovations of Napawalla Park playground equipment. Our Oxford Chamber was so generous, they gunna donate a portion of their proceeds from the BBQ cook off too! There will be a whole heep of fun throughout the day with an ice cream social, a water balloon toss, lunch available by our dear geuda springs kin, a visit from sum Tanganyika critters and live music during the BBQ dinner.
