3rd Annual Grace IZ Forever 5K Dog Walk

Once finished with the walk enjoy yummy treats and pose for hilarious caricatures drawn by RotoBrothers or capture the moment with pictures by Top Tier's 360 Photo Booth.  Also, this year we are excited to announce that Inspire Nutrition will be joining our post walk festivities and serving  an exclusive F"Izzy" Pink Drink along with protein balls and donuts for purchase. And, don't worry JCQ, Kansas City Craft BBQ is back serving their delicious BBQ. We can't wait to spend the morning with you and your furry friend. 

Isabelle Grace Ford is known for her fiery, persistent, loving, kind and compassionate personality. As her legacy foundation, Grace Iz Forever's mission is to inspire community fundraising to various organizations and populations Izzy felt passionate about. Izzy's faith stirred within her a heart for helping others, and as her family, we have a desire and commitment to share this gift with others. Through your generous contributions to Izzy's Donor Advised Fund with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, we will grow her foundation from a small mustard seed and sprinkle her love and kindness in our community for years to come. Although Izzy left this world way too early, our hope is she will never be forgotten and her foundation will awaken Grace.

Grace Iz Forever hosted our first annual 5K dog walk in 2022, where we had 600 registrants and raised funds not only for our foundation, but we gifted $5,000 to Imagine Furever Ranch. In 2023 , we hosted close to the same number of registrants, and were able to gift $5,000 to Melissa's Second Chances. Izzy LOVES dogs, and we feel she wants to continue donating to organizations that support our furry friends. 

This year, we are excited to raise funds for three amazing, local, non profit organizations we feel Izzy is passionate about. With your generosity, we are raising funds for Always and Furever, the Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund and Adventures with Moxie.

Always and Furever is a non profit organization that provides a safe, loving environment for elder dogs who have been abandoned due to illness, age, or abuse. Always and Furever allows pets to, "wait in the comforts of their home until they can find a family of their own who won't throw them away when they are old or sick or even dying. To know they are loved for who they are, at this moment, and then to love us in return regardless of their past. To be the model of forgiveness and in return to teach us to be better, kinder humans and to always know that even if in a small way we can always make a difference." The Lantz Tucker Memorial Fund is a local, non profit organization that originated, " with the goal to help owned pets in urgent need to get the care they need and to stay with the owners who love them". Like Izzy, Lantz loved dogs and couldn't bear the thought of having to surrender a pet due to medical expenses. In a conversation he had with his mom, Lantz expressed the desire to keep pets with their owners, despite medical costs. Lantz died suddenly and tragically in March of 2020 at the age to 22.  https://www.lantztuckermemorialfund.org/about-1

Adventures with Moxie is a local, non profit organization who, " works directly with service dog organizations to provide financial assistance for veterans and non-veterans in need of a service dog". Moxie's Mission is dedicated to providing education and awareness on support dogs, disabilities, and mental health". https://www.adventureswithmoxie.com/
