Labor Your Legs 18th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk

Join us for the FREE 18th Annual Labor Your Legs Fun Run and Walk.  Labor Day (Sept. 7, 2026) is a great way to start your fitness journey for the Fall. This year the Sunflower Striders Running Club will host the run on the Kansas History Museum grounds (6425 SW 6th Ave)

The run/walk will start at 8 am and check-in will open at 7:30.  This is a no frills event (no numbers, medals or awards) , but there will be a clock for those wanting to see their times.  Stay afterwards and enjoy some light refreshments.  We look forward to seeing you there! We are hoping to have Leaders from all the running clubs in the area.  Please come and ask questions and find a place to get connected into.  We have groups for all paces and experience.

For those of you that will join us Virtually, you can submit your times via this website up to a week after the event.

Note: We will be collecting hygiene products like shampoo and conditioner, bar soap, feminine products, laundry tabs and toothpaste for the Bods Feeding Bods group on Washburn University's campus.
