CCA Lions Pride Run

CENTRAL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY PRESENTS: 4th Annual CCA Lions Pride 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

LOCATION: Central Christian Academy - 2900 N. Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226

SCHEDULE: Saturday, September 16, 2017
  7:30 AM - On-site Registration & Packet Pick Up
  8:30 AM  - 5K Run/Walk 
  9:30 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk 
 Awards Ceremony following the 1 Mile Fun Run

REGISTRATION: Registration forms are available at the CCA main office or may be printed and dropped by with payment. You may also register or donate online (A $2.50 processing fee will be applied to online registrations) by going to our CCA website – www.ccalions.org (News & Events).  Online Registration closes September 3th at 11:59 pm. You can register the day of the race on-site beginning at 7:30 AM (Cash or Check only).

Early Bird Registration – through September 3rd.
5K - $30 1 Mile Fun Run - $20

Registration after September 4th & On-Site day of race, September 16th.
5K - $35; 1 Mile Fun Run - $25

Individuals registered prior to 9/4 will receive a CCA Lions Pride Race Shirt – please indicate size when you register. Registrants on or after 9/4 are not guaranteed race shirts. On race day, shirt quantity/sizes will be very limited – on a first come, first serve basis to registered runners.

PACKET PICK UP: Packets (for CCA affiliated registrants who are registered by Sept. 4th) may be picked up in the Crown Room at Central Christian Academy (2900 N. Rock Road, Wichita, KS 67226) on Thursday, September 14 – 3:00 – 4:30 PM & Friday, September 15, 8:15 - 9:00 AM.  All other registrants may pick their packets up on site September 16th beginning at 7:30am.

COURSE: The 5K & 1 Mile races will be run on sidewalk surface and street. The courses are open to runners and walkers alike. http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/1687846034

 The 5K race is a chip-timed race for accurate personal timing provided by TimerGuys.

AWARDS: The top male and female 5K finisher will receive an Overall Winner Medallion. Medals for 5K runners will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age division:  Ages 10 & Under; 11-15; 16-20; 21-25; 26-30; 31-35; 36-40; 41-45; 46-50; 51-55; 56-59; 60 & Up. Every race participant will receive a CCA Lions Pride Race Ribbon.

SPECTATORS: Family and friends are welcome to cheer on the runners near the 5K finish line and the 1 Mile Fun Run!

OUR MISSION: Central Christian Academy is a K-8 Christian school serving over 350 families in the Wichita area. CCA is located at 2900 N. Rock Road, Wichita, KS.  More information about CCA can be found at www.ccalions.org. We are beginning our 35th year of partnering with the Christian home and local church to educate and equip students to reach their full academic, physical and spiritual potential in Jesus Christ. Proceeds from the CCA Lions Pride Races will help fund student academic enrichment.

WEATHER CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:  Safety of the participants is the top priority of the races and sponsoring organizations. In case of inclement weather, the event may be delayed up to one (1) hour from the original start time, changed to a non-timed and non-competitive event, or canceled, depending on the severity of conditions. Due to the costs of putting together an event of this magnitude, no refunds will be given. Refunds are not allowed for any race cancellations prior to race day.
