Come join us for this 10K running, 5K running/walking, and 1 mile fun walk event on Saturday, November 3rd that celebrates our past by honoring Day of the Dead and Memorial Ceremonies, while shaping our future by encouraging participants – from the littlest to the oldest – to pay attention to their health and celebrate every part of who they are, and who they represent in today’s multicultural community.
For those who are fueled by competition, the Culture Dash 10K is a chip-timed race that begins at 9:30 a.m.at the feet of the Keeper of the Plains and runs along the Arkansas River. The event is a fund-raiser for Mid-America All-Indian Center's Educational programs that preserve American Indian history and culture.
The Indian Center is a non-profit 501(c)3, which is run as a partnership between the Board of Trustees and the City of Wichita. All monies raised go directly to the non-profit.
